Proud to DJ the Unison Fund Holiday Schmoozefest at Liberty Grand

This past week, I had the incredible honor of DJing for the Unison Fund’s Holiday Schmoozefest at Liberty Grand. If you haven’t heard about the Unison Fund yet, let me put you on: Unison is a non-profit organization that provides support for Canadian music industry professionals during times of hardship and crisis.

Whether it’s mental health resources, emergency financial aid, or health and wellness support, Unison is a lifeline for those who dedicate their lives to music behind the scenes. The work they do is essential for the well-being of our music community, and I couldn’t have been prouder to contribute to an event that brings so many of us together for such a meaningful cause.

Performing for a crowd of industry peers, friends, and fellow creatives was magical. The energy in the room was electric – smiles everywhere, people reconnecting, and a true celebration of resilience and community.

Liberty Grand was transformed into a winter wonderland. From elegant outfits to festive sweaters (peep those Christmas trees and Santa prints!), the vibe was fun, stylish, and full of good spirits.

As a DJ, events like these are why I love what I do. It wasn’t just about the music; it was about contributing to a greater mission. It was about being part of an evening where music professionals could feel seen, celebrated, and supported.
