There’s something timeless about black and white photography—especially when captured by someone who knows how to tell a story through shadows, texture, and posture.

This editorial shoot was captured by my good friend and incredibly talented photographer and videographer, Ryan “Mr. KOA” Malcolm Campbell. Originally from Toronto and now based in Los Angeles, Ryan has built an impressive resume shooting for industry legends and chart-topping artists including Omarion, Latto, Niecy Nash, and Sheryl Lee Ralph. Having the opportunity to work with him during his visit back to Toronto was not just special—it was a full-circle creative moment.

Each frame from this session captures strength, sensuality, softness, and edge—against the raw, textured backdrop of Fieldworks Studio in downtown Toronto..

We kept the styling minimalist and monochrome: leather ruffles, high-waisted shorts, Jennifer Le fringe cowboy boots, and a lot of attitude. Everything about this shoot is a nod to understated confidence and bold femininity.
