a couple nights ago i received a call from the most unexpected person inviting me out for drinks with someone that we both love and appreciate.
sometimes i feel like i live like an old lady [especially in the winter time].
i have a tendency to pick my social events like i pick my battles and the weather basically determines whether i leave my house or not [unless it's a DJ gig or to do consulting work $$].
but before i went out for drinks i had to make a stop first.
i went to my BFF’s house and dropped off the DVD for “this is it” that dropped this past Tuesday. this joker was hoping for the iPad *blank stare*, but he was just as excited about getting the Michael Jackson DVD especially since he was just not ready to see the movie at the time it was released in theaters.
anywhoo, it is always good to see old and new friends. especially when you spend a lot of your professional time alone. reminiscing on last week’s birthday party extravaganzas, silent glances across the room, words of encouragement, the pouring of unadulterated shots, meeting new friends, and warm hugs was so worth telling old man winter to eff off.
that’s a gamble i’m willing to take every time,

Well I second what you said..when winter time rolls around you definately pick and choose what you do and where you go but when the plains align, with good friends, moments and all it’s definately worth the effort and time
