this made my heart melt.
for all those who don’t know, mary j blige’s 2nd studio album, ‘my life’ carried me through the toughest times of my life. i was young and i was just learning about the complexities of relationships and that album just supported all of my feelings at the time. i related to every verse, every chorus, i cried when mary cried, i hurt when mary hurt…im just so emotionally attached.so when i saw this tribute of amazing male singers covering songs off of that album, i just HAD to download.

My Life was about Mary’s relationship with one man, and now many men have reinterpreted these songs in an effort to pay tribute to an artist who has given us so much of herself.
