i am a HUGE beauty skin care whore and i like to buy products based on things that i have seen on television shows and read in magazines (who doesnt?). so when i heard about mud from the dead sea and the amazing effects it has on the skin, i just decided i wanted a masque (because i am currently happy with my dermalogica regimen) and went on an internet frenzy looking for articles to convince me otherwise.
well there weren’t.
after reading this, this, & this, i was convinced so i found myself at a random cosmetics store a couple weeks ago and picked this product up:

after using it for the first time, my skin felt really soft and tight (in a good way). but it is mud so make sure you time how long you have it on [10 - 15 minutes recommended]. once it dries, you should wash it off right away because when you move your mouth to speak, the hardened mud against your skin isn’t too pleasant. hurts like a bitch actually.
