sometimes we assume that the people who read our blogs are just as internet savvy as we are. if i could count the amount of times people have hit me up on facebook asking me how to unzip mixtapes or songs that i have posted and put a dollar value to it, id be taking a vacation to the canary islands right now.
so to avoid all future repetitive questions, i have decided to put together this instructional on how to unzip file to your PC (or MAC).
1. Download software such as WinZip [for PC] or Stuff-It Expander [for MAC] from a trusted download site like download.com, or winzip.com.
2. Install the WinZip software.
3. Once software is installed, download the .zip file of your choice.
**tip** i always make sure that anything I download goes straight to my desktop because its easy to find and it never gets lost in a sea of folders 
4. Double click on the downloaded folder.
5. Select all of the files you want extracted to a normal file.
6. Press the “Extract” button at the top. Another window will appear. Choose the folder you want to put the files in, and press extract.
7. Go to that folder and you will see that the files have been extracted.
Pretty easy huh?
Don’t let .zip files intimidate you, its just another way of compressing files for fast and easy download process.
