dermalogica is the business!!

i have always had an issue with my skin. teenaged acne, drinking and staying up ridiculous hours have definitely taken a toll on my skin. although nothing has changed lifestyle-wise (go figure), i have always been on a quest to make sure my skin is healthy and even toned and clear and yadda yadda yadda. "i work hard, i play hard. i love life so much that i never give up. im also into music and clothes and shoes and fashion and everything jay-z and celebrity gossip and taking pictures and flirting on blackberry messenger and making mixtapes and reading blogs and balancing life and coming up with new words and hanging out with friends and looking at my booty in the mirror and traveling and dressing up and singing in the shower and kissing boys and drinking cliqot in cute champagne glasses. i had my last blog hacked into, i don't know why, i wasn't that popular and never said much then. its a new blog now. join me." *kisses* ~lissa

i have always had an issue with my skin. teenaged acne, drinking and staying up ridiculous hours have definitely taken a toll on my skin. although nothing has changed lifestyle-wise (go figure), i have always been on a quest to make sure my skin is healthy and even toned and clear and yadda yadda yadda.

my amazing friends  coco and lowe recently got some dermalogica skin mapping done and coco raves about dermalogica all the time when i bitch and complain to her about my skin. so i hopped on ebay and bought one of those travel sized kits for oliy skin.

AH-MAYYYYYYZING!

i know ive only used the product once, i can totally feel the difference in the texture of my skin. i love the fact that i can smell the ingredients – which to me means something is working lol. the only issue i have with the kit is that there are way too many steps….but in order to have oil-controlled skin for the rest of the summer, i’ll deal.

my fave step is the precleanse =]

its a medium sized kit, so it’ll probably last me until the weather changes and then i’ll probably buy the kit for dry skin when the weather gets brutally cold….ugh.

It’s the best. You should have seen the breakout I had before using Dermalogica and now, slowly but surely, it’s gone. The customization is the best part because they are selling you products that are designed for you!
Thanks Lissa!! Glad you like it!

Dermalogica products are expensive, but in this case you get what you pay for. When you have special case skin, like excessive oil or acne, it’s definitely worth it to invest in your products.

I also love Vichy Normaderm by L’Oreal – you can get them on sale at Shoppers for $12 a piece, versus $20

For that, you will need to use their toner. You can also try Vichy’s toner.

I LOVE the pre-cleanse too!!! It takes off alllllll of my make up (even eyelash glue lol)

We are having a Dirty Girl Clean evening at Ritual with Dermalogica on Oct 6th where you can get free samples, face mapping and even have a chance to win all of the products customized to your skin!! Be there! LOL

    Love you
    xoxo,
    coco
