i had my last blog hacked into, i don't know why, i wasn't that popular and never said much then.

I remember when my dad would pick me up from visiting my grandma on sunday afternoons as a kid and he would have the radio tuned to the casey kasem american top 40 show. i would hear songs from cyndi lauper to whitney houston to new kids on the block and was basically my doorway from everything soca and reggae that played in our west indian household.
So when I found out that Casey signed off for the last time on saturday july 4th, my heart broke a little. a piece of childhood gone… but a memorable one at that.
