I had the opportunity to listen to Kim Davis’ album a year ago when we first met. I immediately connected to Kim’s music because she reminded me of a young Mary. Y’all know how I ride for Mary. Her voice was powerful and her music complimented that. She sang about shit I went through and the things I never experienced, I still felt like I understood. Kim takes you there For all those who dont know about Kim Davis, needs to really get familiar. Kim is like the epitome of Toronto homegrown talent. I feel you can come to Toronto and ask anyone about Kim Davis. She’s got history here and Toronto has her back for real. Kim sent over ‘Live, Love, Learn’ to me on facebook today and I had to post this and share with you. Not because it was one of my favorite songs off her album but its totally how I view life in general.
