ive only been at my new job for a couple days now and on my way home in the cab i realize how much i LOVE my job.
oh, you didnt know? i DO have a day job. dont get it twisted. lololz.
i just started an amazing opportunity at myspace canada as marketing coordinator.
it took me 3 years after college to find a job where i can be CREATIVE.
i dont understand why the entertainment industry (especially the urban industry) doesnt want to pay people to do REAL work. like full time, everyday, always on your computer, 24/7 work.
you really realize your value when you are offered a job and an AMAZING salary to do something you love.
it feels so rewarding to know that i will be receiveing a REAL paycheque to bring some of the most talented event promoters, artists and creative people together to add content to a site that reaches millions of people.
at work today, i met the most amazing executive from our l.a. offiice, sat in 4 back to back meetings with potential PR companies.
we didnt leave the office till 8:30p.
next thing i know, im hopping in a cab with my bosses to the spoke club for a rooftop patio dinner at a shared table with one of the judges for Canada’s Next Top Model.
i got a taste of the goodlife.
[i cant thank that nice guy enough for letting me wear his jacket on the rooftop].
did i mention i love my job?
